Brown rice is a whole grain, meaning that it contains three parts of the grain kernel: the outer, fibre filled layer called the bran, the nutrient rich core called the germ, and the starchy middle layer called the endosperm. The outer inedible hull is removed. There are so many varieties of rice - including brown rice , white rice, and sticky rice ( glutinous rice )- but in terms of health benefits , not all are created equal.

Medicinal / Nutritional/ Cooking Facts : Soak navara rice for 1 hour and then cook in the same water until the rice become soft, we can add coconut milk, different herbs, pulses or whatever medicinal herbs or tastes we like.
There are two types of Navara , one is known as “ Black glumed Navara” and the “ Golden Yellow Glumed Navara”.
Navara rice is considered as optimal for curing Rheumatism. It is traditionally believed to help in relieving the pain associated with Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, promotes the growth of red blood cells in the blood. And therefore, it is a helpful remedy for anemia patient, protects and provides strength to the nervous disorder.
